Tracy Stewart, Head of Technology
Tracy Stewart is responsible for the continuing refinement and operation of FamilyClick's ISP and portal infrastructure. Leading a group of talented
engineers, she ensures that FamilyClick's technology remains state-of-the-art and works to develop strategic partnerships with other technology companies. Her efforts led to the development and implementation of FamilyClick's best of class filtering technology as well as the SecureClick Network which prevents tech-savvy teenagers from side stepping the filtering technology. Mrs. Stewart has forged relationships with industry leaders such as Oracle, Symantec, Software.com, Concentric and F5 Network among others.
Before joining FamilyClick, Mrs. Stewart served as Vice President of Information Technology for International Family Entertainment (IFE), best known for its flagship cable network, The Family Channel. At IFE, she managed the companies wide area network, web sites and implemented Oracle based client/server systems including the company's Intranet. Working with Sales and Marketing, she developed systems geared toward increasing competitive advantage as well
as revenue generation.
Prior to joining IFE, Mrs. Stewart was employed by the Department of Defense where she lead a team of system software developers and electrical engineers in the over $10 million development of the Seawolf submarine's combat system basic operator trainer. Mrs. Stewart also managed the upgrades and maintenance to the shore based combat system trainers of the
Los Angeles class attack submarines. During her tenure with the U.S. Government, she received five superior performance awards and two letters of commendation from the Department of Defense.
