A Holy Easter - OK, Christmas is always on December 25, Valentine's Day is on February 14, and St. Patrick's Day is always celebrated on March 17, so what about Easter? Why is it on a different date each year? The answer is a long one, but here goes: Easter is observed on the first Sunday following the first full moon after the first day of spring (vernal equinox) in the Northern Hemisphere. This can occur anytime between March 22 and April 25. Although this extensive site collects links about bunnies, eggs, clip art, and audio files, its main emphasis is on the religious observances of Easter and the Passover season.

Absolutely Easter - After you've colored all your Easter eggs, what do you do with them? Do you put them in a bowl on the table? That looks pretty, but try something new--check the Easter Village. Just print out the pictures and color them. In fact, some of them are already in color. Then wrap the pictures around the eggs, set them up, and play with your beautiful creation. This is part of a larger site about many holidays.
