Collecting Personal Information

FamilyClick does at times request general information from its users. For example, we do ask kids to join as members of our "Kids Club" before they use the interactive activities on the site so that we can monitor them in the Chat Room and Message Boards and react quickly to safety problems. We collect only general demographic information such as gender, age, and zip code during registration. Any content preferences information we collect will be used for research and marketing purposes only and will NOT be sold to any third parties.

Sweepstakes and Contests

FamilyClick may use a reputable third party to manage some of its sweepstakes and contests, and this third party company may have access to some of the personally identifiable information that is provided in contest and/or sweepstakes entry. The personally identifiable information will be used by the contest administrator only for the specific contest-related purpose for which it is requested, and the information will not be sold, marketed or transferred to other companies.

In order for a child who wins a FamilyClick contest to receive a prize, he/she must submit a signed parental release and affidavit to FamilyClick.Com, giving FamilyClick the right to send the gift to them. All prizes are sent to the parents and not to the child directly.

Except as described above, no information obtained from a contest entrant under the age of 13 is ever sold or transferred to third parties by FamilyClick.
