FamilyClick Internet Filter - Category Access Levels

FamilyClick Unplugged access provides unfiltered access to the Internet.

Full FamilyClick access (recommended for ages 18+) blocks the following:

• Crime - Sites providing instructions on performing criminal activities or acquiring illegal items
• Hate Groups - Sites that advocate intolerance or hatred of a person or group of people.
• Pornography - Sites intended to be sexually arousing or erotic.
• Illegal Drug Promotion for Non-medical Drugs - Sites providing information on illegal drugs for non-medical use.
• Gambling Online - Sites dedicated to participation in wagering and gambling.
• Violence - Sites that depict or advocate violence that do not fall under the "Hate Group" category.
• Chat - Sites that are not DDRTM (Dynamic Document Review) protected.

Teen access (recommended for ages 15-17) also blocks the following:

• Personals - Sites dedicated to personals, dating escort services, or mail-order marriages.
• Illegal Drug Promotion - Sites advocating the legal use of illegal drugs.
• Chat/Message Boards - Chat sites and message boards not specifically approved by FamilyClick.
• Non-FamilyClick Email Services - Sites providing interactive email services.

Pre-Teen access (recommended for ages 12-14) also blocks the following:

• Revealing Attire - Sites featuring pictures that include alluring or revealing attire.
• Advanced Sex Education - Sites providing medical discussions of sexually transmitted diseases, sites providing information of an educational nature on pregnancy and family planning, sites providing information on sexual assault and sites providing information and instructions on the use of birth control devices.
• Weapons - Sites that display, sell, or advocate the use of weapons.
• Games - Game sites designed for teens and older.

Kids access (recommended for ages 8-11) also blocks the following:

• Basic Sex Education - Sites providing information at the elementary level about puberty and reproduction. Includes clinical names for reproductive organs.

Children's Playroom access (recommended for ages 7 and below)

• The "Playroom" is 100% safe. It contains activities, games and content that have been pre-selected and pre-approved by FamilyClick.
