Warming Up Before You Play

Question: I seem to have a lot of trouble on the first few holes, but then get better as the round goes on. What can I do about this?
Answer: When possible, try to arrive early enough to hit some practice
balls. However, when that isn't possible, make sure you stretch. This also applies
prior to hitting practice balls. Here's one simple technique you might try.
Take a five and six iron and swing both together SLOWLY. This will loosen up
the large muscles in your back and shoulders. Also, make sure you stop by the
practice green and roll some putts to get a feel for the speed of the greens.
