Niue - Rock of Polynesia - What do passion fruit products, pawpaw, footballs, and stamps have in common? They are all exports of Niue. This is a tiny, self-governing territory in free association with New Zealand. Niue, one of the world's largest coral islands, is situated in the South Pacific Ocean, east of Tonga.

Rob Kay's Fiji Guide - Fiji consists of over 300 islands of various sizes. If you visit, you'll find all sorts of fun things to do: kayaking, hiking to a volcano, sliding down a watery slope, bird watching, scuba diving, and surfing. The main attraction, though, according to this Web site's author, is the people of Fiji. He says, "Fijian customs reflect an utmost dignity and courtesy toward the visitor. There are ceremonies for every occasion, which may include the presentation of tabua (whale's teeth), food, or other gifts, or more commonly the drinking of yaqona (kava), the national beverage."
Tahiti Explorer - Maybe you've heard of Tahiti. It's the largest of the 115 islands that make up French Polynesia, an overseas territory of France.
