Riverdance - The Website - Riverdance has become its own phenomenon, and through it, Irish music and dancing have gained new popularity worldwide. Read the story behind the musical, and experience a virtual "day in the life" of a Riverdance troupe as it prepares for another show. No detail is left to chance, even in rehearsal. There are also brief audio and video clips for you to download, and the page offers six different language options.
Siamsa - The popular “Riverdance” show, which has gained worldwide acclaim over the past few years, is finallyng on Broadway on March 16, 2000. It features sparking Irish music and dancing, but if you’re not up to speed on your jigs and your reels, try this page for a quick refresher. Its author is a 15-year-old veteran of many an Irish dance competition, and she shares all kinds of advice for young performers. One trick of the trade: practice proper hand position by carrying a coin in each hand.
