Children's Creative Theatre Guide - Take a trip through time as you explore the history of theater from the ancient Greeks till today. If you're unfamiliar with theatrical terms, there is a handy glossary where you can discover, for example, that the apron is the part of the stage that projects towards or into the auditorium. KIDLINK IRC - KIDLINK is one of the oldest kid-friendly sites on the Net. Internet relay chat (IRC) is a way for you to talk to kids all over the globe in real time. With IRC, when you type something, other kids can type right back! Some IRC channels areto everyone, and they are pretty wild. This one is just for kids, and you have to register before they will let you use it. It is carefully monitored. Don't pass by, give IRC a try.

Kids Web - Kid's Web goal is to present students with a subset of the Web that is very simple to navigate, and contains information targeted at the K-12 level. Each subject section, contains a list of links to information that is understandable and interesting to school kids. There are also links to external lists of material on each subject which more advanced students can browse for further information.

Make a Splash with Color - San Jose's TheTech museum has a nifty online exhibit about color. You'll learn how to describe a color based on its hue, saturation, and brightness. As they explain it, hue helps you tell which bananas in the bunch are ripe. Saturation is the color difference between your chocolate milk and your sister's chocolate milk. And brightness tells us the difference between plain white bread and burnt toast.

Poetry Pals Internet Poetry Publishing Project for K-12 Students - Do you like to write poetry? If the answer is "Yes!" then by all means visit this site and share your poems with other kids from all over the world.
