Legends of Guam - Sirena loved to swim in the sea. One day, she forgot her chores and spent the day swimming. When she did not come home, her angry mother said she should just become a fish if she loved the sea so much! Sirena's godmother quickly said, "But let the part of her that belongs to me remain." Sirena, still swimming, suddenly felt strange. She looked down and realized the lower part of her body had become a fish. The legend of Sirena is from Guam.
