Many of the resources are in Polish, and English versions are under development.
The Poland Country Guide - A tribe known as Polians, or "dwellers of the field," claimed Poland as their own in the early ninth century. At this site, you can learn about Polish history, people, and culture. If you explore the site, you'll find interesting details. For instance, defensive castles became an integral part of the Polish landscape in the fourteenth century in the reign of Casimir the Great, who "found Poland built of wood and left her built of stone."
