Boston Marathon Official Web Site - What is the world's most well-known race? A lot of folks would argue it's the Boston Marathon. Eco-Challenge - It's a 24-hour-a-day, 300-mile race for teams over extremely demanding territory. It may involve running, hiking, scaling cliffs, canoeing, swimming, bicycling, or riding horseback. One of the unusual parts of this competition is that the entire team must finish together. If one team member can't go on because of injury or fatigue, the entire team is disqualified.
