King Cobra @ Nationalgeographic.com - The king cobra is one snake you don't want to go messing with, but if you check him out here, it will be relatively safe. Consider these facts about Mister KC: it has a head as big as a man's hand and can stand tall enough to look you straight in the eye. Its venom can stun your nervous system and stop your breathing. Ready for more? Its fangs are a half-inch long, and a little bite will deliver venom from glands attached to the fangs. Within minutes, neurotoxins stun the prey's nervous system, especially the impulses for breathing. Other toxins start digesting the paralyzed victim. We've had enough, but if you'd like more information, there's plenty available!
