Mr. Lucas most recently served as President of Family Channel programming for International Family Entertainment, Inc. Under his leadership, The Family Channel saw a record 26 percent increase in household delivery and a 41 percent increase in the key 25 to 54 women's demographic. When he joined IFE in 1995, Mr. Lucas had a superb track record of overseeing top-rated, long-running network television shows at Viacom and ABC. He was Executive Vice President of Viacom Entertainment Group and President of West Coast Operations and Viacom Productions. In that capacity, Mr. Lucas was responsible for the overall creative, financial and production management of Viacom Productions. He also sold series and movies to all major networks. Prior to that, Mr. Lucas was Vice President and Executive Assistant to the President of ABC Entertainment until 1986. While at ABC, Mr. Lucas also held the position of Vice President, Program Planning and Scheduling and was a Research Executive.
