Family.com: FamilyFun Magazine - Fabulously Slimy Halloween Party - From bloodcurdling beverages (with insects in the ice cubes) to devilish desserts (with pretzel spiders), your Halloween party is sure to be ghoulish if you follow some of the ideas here. There are Halloween decorations and activities that any witch, wizard, or goblin will love.
Halloween Costume Center "Create a Costume with Great Prices" - Costumes galore are available for not too much cash at your local Goodwill store. Follow the directions here to be Judge Judy, a Post-it note, Dilbert, a bag of jelly beans, and loads of other great characters.
Halloween Magazine - Tricks and treats abound at this enormous Halloween site. (That reminds us of a seasonal joke: Why does a witch ride on a broom? Because vacuum cleaners have to be plugged into the wall!) Stroll through the site (keep your eyes closed if you're scared), and get some tips on easy-to-make costumes, decorations, and party food. There's also a great Halloween safety game. You'll find lots of links to other haunted Web sites, none of witch we have checked, so parents, please preview this site, because it may be too scary for little ones.
MidLink Magazine's Virtual Haunted House - This was created by middle-grade kids for other middle-grade kids, so be prepared for a lot of horror-ible stuff!
Virtual Jack-o-Lantern - If you have a VRML plug-in that lets you "walk around" virtual reality images, you can carve a virtual pumpkin and then inspect it from all sides. You can even explore inside, from the candle's point of view.
