Filter Test Page
Your Internet connection may not be filtered!
Check the following:
- Is the FamilyClick software installed on your computer?
- Is the FamilyClick filter activated?
- Is your account set to the "FamilyClick Unplugged" access level?
- Is your account set to the "Children's Playroom" access level?
1. If the FamilyClick software is properly installed on your computer, you should be prompted to sign in to FamilyClick every time you access the Internet. You can also check by doing the following: a) click on Start in the lower left corner of your screen, b) move your pointer to Programs, and look for FamilyClick in the list of programs. (It should be towards the end of the list.) If it is not there, you can download it again by going to our home page www. and clicking on the link "Check Out FamilyCLICK's Internet Filter Service". Choose the option "New FamilyClick subscribers". On the page that comes up, select "If you have already registered with FamilyClick and just need to download and install the FamilyClick software click here". This will take you to the instructions for downloading and installing the FamilyClick software.

2. If the FamilyClick filter is activated you should be prompted to sign in to access the Internet. You can also check by doing the following: a) click on Start in the lower left corner of your screen, b) move your pointer to Programs, and look for FamilyClick in the list of programs. (It should be towards the end of the list.) Move your pointer to FamilyClick and click on FamilyClick Administrator from the list that appears. After you verify your browser is closed, a window willwith a box for your member name and password in the lower left. Below the password box is a button that will say "Deactivate Filter" or "Activate Filter" depending on the current status. If it says "Activate Filter", then the status is deactivated and you should activate the filter.

3. To check your access level, go to our home page www. and click on the link "Member Profile" in the upper portion of the screen.

4. If the FamilyClick filter is activated and you are signed in at the Children's Playroom access level, then you will only be able to access websites in a FamilyClick approved list of websites appropriate for children. The fact that you are able to view this test page does not mean that you are not being filtered.
