Raptors in the City: The Peregrine Falcon - Raptors in the City, the Peregrine Falcon, a conservation success story surveys the decline and rescue of the peregrine falcon from the brink of extinction. The site includes interview with many of the different professionals and volunteers involved in peregrine conservation. The site designers document their visit to a raptor rehabilitation facility and include a video of a falcon eating and an audio file of a falcon cry that they themselves recorded. Visitors are encouraged to test their knowledge with the interactive quiz and to share their peregrine sitings. The designers hope the site will encourage children to help preserve peregrine and other endangered species.
