AAAHH!!! Real Monsters - Deep beneath a smelly garbage dump, a generation of promising young monsters is growing up. Ickis, Oblina and Krumm are students in one of the world's most elite monster academies, where they're studying the fine art of scaring the daylights out of people. Learning to be a top monster from their strict headmaster, the Gromble, is hard work, so the trio relies on each other's help in dealing with the day-to-day trials of monsterdom. Despite their shortcomings--Ickis's insecurities, Oblina's bad temper and Krumm's tendency to be a slacker--their friendship gets them through their hideous homework and horrendous adolescence.

C-SPAN - If you want to see the U.S. government at work, you'll see it here. Hearings, meetings, legislative sessions: this site will tell you what C-SPAN will be showing, and when. There are also classroom activities and lesson plans for the teachers among you. And aren't we all teachers, really? All you kids are teachers, and every truly great adult teacher knows that.

Cartoon Network Department of Cartoons - This site will not only allow you to seek information on cartoons, but will even allow you to request a cartoon that will be shown on the air. Kids can also write e-mails to the Cartoon Network mascot Johnny Bravo, play featured cartoon video games, and enter plenty of promotional contests with lots of exciting prizes.

CNN Interactive - CNN, the 24-hour news channel, has made it easy and fast to get the news of the moment over the Internet. And it's in a multimedia format that brings you lots more than words. You'll find that QuickTime movies and sound turn up in the most amazing places! Look for them in stories about belly-flop contests as well as space shuttle dockings. And if you want to know more about the news CNN is covering, you can link to thousands of newspapers, magazines, and broadcasts from all over the world. Don't forget that CNN covers entertainment, sports, style, and other fun stuff. Check out Billboard's weekly Top Ten list, featuring sound clips of each popular song. Encyclopedia Brady - is one of those TV shows that just seems to go on forever. Just about everybody has seen at least a few of the original episodes, featuring Marcia ("Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!"), Greg, and all the rest as they struggle through life in suburbia. If you're a Brady Bunch fan, this site is just for you. Included here are details about the Brady Bunch that would inform even the most dedicated Brady follower! Rosie O'Donnell Show - Net-mom has visited the Rosie O'Donnell Show . Unfortunately, Rosie wasn't there. In fact, nobody was there except the guide and 20 other people on the NBC tour in New York City. Still, Net-mom was able to gawk at the set, including the desk, the chairs, and the Coney Island roller coaster replica. If Rosie's your favorite talk show host, you should definitely see her Web page. You can find out who's going to be on the show, reminisce about who has been on (and see pictures!), and play a few neat Shockwave games. There's a holiday dress-up game for little kids. V-Chip Education Project - Since January 2000, all U.S.-manufactured TV sets have a V-Chip inside them. Not a snack food at all, it is a tool for parents to ensure "tasteful" family viewing habits. It can be set up to block individual shows or even entire channels. At this site, you can learn about the V-Chip, the criteria used to rate TV content, and what all those rating label letters at the beginning of the shows mean.

ZOOM - is a wonderful show for kids of all ages. That's not surprising, because kids help produce the show! Learn all sorts of "kid lore" like clapping games, crafts, embarrassing moments stories, and more. Then there are the jokes. Ah, the jokes. Example: What goes in one hole and out three holes? A person putting on a T-shirt. Get it?
