Court Awareness - For the past four years, Court Awareness has provided its readers coverage of a wide range of women's basketball issues, from the Final Fours, to the Olympic Team, to the debut of professional basketball. Our mission is to educate and entertain, and at the same time advance the sport of women's basketball.
ESPN.com - Women's College Basketball - Coverage of women's college basketball, with news and schedules of matches.
Harlem Globetrotters Online - One sports team has played before more people and has won more consecutive games over the last 70 years than any other: the Harlem Globetrotters, of course! Check out these funny athletes at their Web site, and play some fun basketball trivia games while you're here.
Hoophall.Com - The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is in Springfield, Massachusetts, where the game was born. Although there is not much at their site right now, they promise it will be cool Real Soon Now.
NBA.com - The official NBA Web site really lets you interact with the players and teams. You can't go one-on-one (yet), but they do have live chat sessions with all your favorite players, which are saved; so if you miss one, you can go back and read the transcript. This site also gives you the latest news, schedules, results, and links to the home pages of the NBA teams.
Playerfile: Michael Jordan - Normally we wouldn't concentrate on just one sports figure. But for Michael Jordan...well, we just had to make an exception. See Michael dunking the ball. See Michael shooting a free throw. See Michael soaring through the air. See Michael driving around an opponent. See Michael smiling. You've got to love this guy! Then you can click on Bulls Home to check out the rest of his team.
Women's National Basketball Association - Step aside, Michael. Move over, Shaquille. The women have made their mark in basketball history, and you can read all about it right here. The two-division, 12-team league features top names from college and Olympic play. This site has you sitting courtside, with highlights of the players and their teams. Ask a question, read the stats, and learn the history of the league and of women in basketball. You can even find out how to order a shirt or hat from your favorite team--but check with your parents before you do that!
