Children's Software Revue - There's so much new software coming out, how do you know which ones are worth your time and money? The Children's Software Revue magazine is one terrific way to keep up with this ever-growing marketplace. Many features from the print version are also available here, and you can search a database of thousands of reviews. Also valuable is the selection of links to other qualified review resources on the Web.

IBM Special Needs Systems Home Page - Want to know how IBM computers can be adapted for use by persons with disabilities? This resource offers information on products, software to download, and lots of advice on making Web pages and Java applications accessible to all. See also "Macintosh Assistive Technologies" and the "Microsoft Accessibility Home" sites that follow.

Info-Mac HyperArchive - Over the years, Info-Mac has become the master list for Macintosh software archives, with mirror sites around the world. Now you can use your browser to search this mirror collection at MIT. This is a great way to find shareware, demos, clip art, help, and information about Macintosh. If you own a Mac, this will become one of your favorite links.

Oak Software Repository - Check out this archive site for access to just about all the DOS and Windows software available. Besides listing many of the other software archives, you can browse the legendary SimTel archives here with your Web browser. The SimTel collection goes back to the early DOS years, and it is one of the largest collections of PC programs and information in the world. There is even a CP/M archive here (ask your parents if they remember the CP/M operating system). Of course, a search function is available to help you find the "needle in the haystack" you might be looking for.

SuperKids Educational Software Review - This site is aimed at parents and teachers, but you can use it too! Find out if that new software title you've seen advertised on TV is really any good. Each month, a team of reviewers (parents, teachers, kids) checks out a selection of the newest programs in a specific subject area, such as math, reading, or science. What do they really like? What really made them yawn? Find out here.

Tucows Network - Tucows says it is the world's most popular collection of Internet software for Windows, Linux, PDA, and Macintosh software--and we believe it! This collection is mirrored all around the globe, so pick a site close to you. (Another suggestion is to pick a server located where the local time is in the middle of the night--that server will probably not be overloaded.) This is your source for plug-ins, helper applications, and games.

ZDNet Downloads - ZDNet is your online source for software downloads. From freeware to shareware, games and utilities, to graphics and multimedia. ZDNet even rates the software and makes downloading easy.
