HubbleSite - Out of the ordinary...Out of this world. NASA's orbiting Hubble Space Telescope sees the raw beauty of the universe from above Earth's atmosphere and sends back a portrait of the universe in exquisite detail. Here's your chance to leave the ground for a while... and see what Hubble sees.
JPL Kids - Explore these JPL and NASA kid sites for out-of-this-world fun and learning. Ride through space with Captain Comet, play spacy games, learn about space and astronomy, and check out NASA's Observatorium for awesome pictures of the Earth, planets, stars, and other cool stuff.
Mysteries of Space and Time - By the time you finish navigating this web site, space should no longer be a mystery. Using clever graphics and offering games and other interactive features, this resource thoroughly covers black holes, the planets, and many anomalies of space. The lab section will be particularly helpful to astronomy students, and the links out to NASA and other sources are well-chosen.
NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory - The Jet Propulsion Laboratory is the lead U.S. center for robotic exploration of the solar system. JPL spacecraft have visited all known planets except Pluto (a Pluto mission is currently under study for the early part of the next decade). See the incredible images and videos, track their missions, learn about the earth, stars, galaxies and our solar system, and have tons of fun!
NASA's Observatorium - NASA's Observatorium is a public access site for Earth and space data. They have pictures of the Earth, planets, stars, and other cool stuff, as well as the stories behind those images.
Nine Planets, The - The Nine Planets is an overview of the history, mythology, and current scientific knowledge of each of the planets and moons in our solar system. Each page has text and images, some have sounds and movies, most provide references to additional related information. Interplanetary spacecraft have revolutionized planetary science. Very little of this document would have been possible without the space program.
Planets, Moons and Stars - Welcome to this site about our solar system created for the Think Quest Junior competition. Have fun looking at all the information about the sun, moon, stars and other interesting things. Click on the links to start your journey. ENJOY!
Sky and Telescope -- Moon and Planets - Here are some articles from past issues of Sky & Telescope that will enhance your enjoyment of the moon and planets.
