AYYA Yo-Yo Page - Three-Leaf Clover. Brain Twister. Reach for the Moon. Atom Smasher. These are all master yo-yo tricks. At the American Yo-Yo Association page, you'll see a world of yo-yo info, including tips on tuning your yo-yo, tricks, museums, and clubs. Just say YO!

Barbie.com - Barbie's come a long way from that perky teenage fashion model in the striped bathing suit. Now she's a dentist, a veterinarian, or a teacher, and she even rides a Harley-Davidson motorcycle! At this site you can learn all about the many faces of Barbie. There are also many tips, trivia, and information for collectors.

Colleen Moore's Fairy Castle - The ultimate dollhouse is in the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. It was created by Colleen Moore, a star of 1920s silent films, who decorated the interior with antiques, real gold, jewels, and other precious items. The dollhouse is located in a magic garden, with a weeping willow tree that really weeps! Who is to say fairies don't really live there? You'll see the Rock-a-Bye Baby cradle, Santa Claus' sleigh, and lots of other objects familiar from nursery rhyme lore and legend. The table is set in King Arthur's dining hall, and the Bluebird of Happiness sings in the princess' bedroom. Don't miss the attic-- Rumplestiltskin's spinning wheel hangs from the rafters.

Everything You Wanted to Know About Dollhouses but Didn't Know Who to Ask - From types of dollhouses, to how to build one--including supplies needed--this site really does give you everything but the doll! There are instructions on wiring your dollhouse, wallpapering and decorating, and even exotic details like how to make realistic-looking soapsuds for the bathtub.

FAO Schwarz - Frederick August Otto Schwarz, namesake of the world famous toy chain, founded the business 137 years ago, just six years after he arrived in America from Westphalia, Germany. FAO prides itself in offering unique products in an unforgettable environment. FAO is a mecca for toy lovers from all over the world.

Fisher-Price - Sure, you can find out about Fisher-Price products and news about the company, but the best part is the section called Fun! It is slow to load, but it's worth it when you find all the games, activities, and goodies inside. Try to see if you can help a little puppy guess who is at the door. Listen for the clues, examine the two choices, and then click on "the friend who works on the farm." The door swings-were you right? Of course in real life, you shouldn'tthe door unless an adult says it is OK. Other games include shape and color recognition as well as an alphabet game. There are also activity sheets to print.

Furby.com - They sure look funny. They speak "Furbish," and if you have no idea what they are saying, this site offers a handy translation dictionary. So if your Furby says, "may-lah," it means "hug." You can practice here in the Talking Furby section, as you listen to Furbish. There's the official Furby story as well as a place to send Furby postcards to your friends.

Hot Wheels - This site has lots of information on collectible cars and what's new from the product line, but you're probably wondering what happens if you click on Games! You can sign up to get a "license"--make up a name (but write it down so you'll be able to come back later). Or, take the temporary Guest Pass and wander around Speed City on your own. The Hot Wheels Raceway has several challenging driving games to test your skill (hope you like to see cars crashing!). Remember, Mattel is trying to get you to buy their products, so you'll see a lot of advertising logos.

John Deere Kids - Around the farm you have to be very careful, and Ready the Rooster will show you that sometimes it's OK "to be a little chicken." Don't ask for a ride on a tractor, watch out around large animals, and keep away from farm chemicals. Also, that big pile of grain looks fun to play in, but it's not--you could suffocate! See how many of the safety rules you already know and which ones are new to you. There's also a fun story called Johnny Tractor and his Pals (Dicky Disk, Henry Harrow, and Perry Plow, among others). It explains what each type of machinery does and how they must all work together to get the job done.

Lego Mindstorms - The Official Lego Mindstorms Web Site has the latest official news and information on Lego Mindstorms, a line of products that lets you build and program robots that do what you want.

LEGO Worlds - Your dog chewed all the little pieces, and now you need some new ideas for other Lego projects to make with what's left! On the LEGO Information page, you can see pictures of other people's creations and discover how to make and play Lego games. You'll also find fun online games, screen savers, and other things to download for Legomaniacs everywhere. Some of the games, such as Tube Towers, are especially for preschoolers. You have to register, but you can just make up the answers to the questions.

Matchbox Toys - What should we do for fun today? How about playing with Matchbox cars online? Check out the Site Map to find the Matchbox USA contest, a time line of Matchbox history, and tons of cool info, including the hottest model vehicles of all time. Don't forget to visit the games area. You need to pick a code name and a location, but you don't have to tell the truth!

SuperSoaker - Net-mom has run away from more Super Soaker water play than she cares to remember. Seems like every year Son of Net-mom just HAS to have the latest, greatest, and newest model. Luckily, he hasn't discovered this Web site yet. And don't YOU tell him! He'd be entering the contest to win free water guns and drooling over the CPS 3000. No, Net-mom's going to keep this site a secret.

Tiger Electronics, Ltd - If you like electronic toys, you'll love this site! Find out the latest toys and gizmos they have, or check out an old favorite like the Star Wars toys or Furby. You can even buy featured products online.

Water Weapons of Mass Destruction - Want to know which water guns are the best? Check out the fan reviews at this site. You'll also be treated to water fight strategy, "war" stories, and maintenance tips. The most important thing is to empty those tanks and depressurize after each water fight. Otherwise, mildew will grow and clog the pipes, and your gun will turn into a colorful but useless plastic object.

Yo-Yo Tricks - Listed in order of difficulty are complete instructions for performing several yo-yo tricks. Master the Sleeper and move right in to Walk the Dog, Creeper, Eddie Spaghetti, and more.

ZanyBrainy.com - The idea behind ZanyBrainy is simple: kids learn best when they’re having fun. ZanyBrainy Stores and web site is intended to be a center of family fun where kids and parents can share memorable experiences exploring the world of learning toys together. And proving every time they visit that both kids and parents learn best when they’re having fun!

Zome System - Net-mom's always looking for the perfect construction kit for icosahedral quasicrystalline models, and now she's finally found it. It's called Zometool, and you can learn all about it at this site. Unlike other modular construction kits, which force users to think in squares and angles, Zometool allows builders to think in terms of curves, spirals, fractals, and more. This is because Zometool has 62 different places (instead of four or six) to put the next adjoining piece. The struts between the connectors are flexible, as well. Move over Tinkertoys, here comes Zometool.
